Carved out of an up-cycled ytong block and mounted on an up-cycled roof tile. Can be hung on a picture hook or nail. Can go indoors or out.
Whanau (Family) represents the strong bond of love, unity and protection amongst the family, including extended family and loved ones.
The love and support to and by whanau.
It is shown in this design by the young fronds of the silver fern being lovingly protected by the older fronds which is the whole concept of the love and protection of the family.
