The Koru & Kinship

The Koru

is the uncoiling of the new frond of the silver fern and therefore represents new beginnings, growth, strength, peace and love.

It very much symbolises positive change and awakenings as well as harmoniously moving into a new phase of life.

The Double Koru

has the same meaning as the koru as well as symbolising the close bond between siblings, especially twins.

Kinship

has the same meaning as the koru but is also representing two kindred spirits. Shown in this design by the two korus inter-twined
